La exposición colectiva scratch the surface es una continuación de la última publicación de “The Plantation Journal” que tuvo cómo título: Sculptural Surface (la superficie escultórica).

El trabajo está comunicando diferentes aspectos del termino superficie, dónde variaciones en técnicas y materiales han sido utilizadas, pero que comparten lo que todos los fotógrafos exploran: el medio, combinado con otras técnicas como el escaneado, la pintura, el pegado de elementos, el dibujo, el collage y los tejidos.

Los artistas tratan la superficie como escultura, y esto se convierte en multi-dimensional. El trabajo ha sido explorado IN-CAMERA, o manipulado fuera de ella. Todos ellos presentan la superficie como objeto que cuestionar.

The collective exhibition scratch the surface is a continuation of the latest publication of "The Plantation Journal" which was titled: Sculptural Surface (the sculptural surface).

The work is communicating different aspects of the term surface, where variations in techniques and materials have been used, but that share what all photographers explore: the medium, combined with other techniques such as scanning, painting, gluing elements, Drawing, collage, and tissues.

Artists treat the surface as sculpture, and this becomes multi-dimensional. The work has been explored IN-CAMERA or manipulated outside it. All of them present the surface as an object to question.
